Rarely something grabs an audience's attention more effectively than a clever optical illusion. This wonderful mobile transparent billboard for The Red Cross using the power of optical illusion to shock viewers in its earthquake-awareness campaign. Sony also used optical illusions for their Bravia LCD. There were some similar campaigns whose purpose was to shock it's audience and rise the awareness to certain society problems. Just remember The Longest Night initiative, as well as Amnesty International's "It happens not here, but now!" campaign. I like everything that has something to do with charity, and helping people. I feel like i will always be amazed with these creatives as I feel they boost brand recognition and keep the audience captive with the message!
